Safari Day Tours

Guests entering the Kruger National Park or a Private Game Reserve does so at their own risk.
 Entry forms must be complete in order to enter Kruger National Park and a passport must be provided for proof of ID.
Moving on African Grounds cannot be held liable for circumstances that are beyond our control that may influence the quality of Game Viewing, such as adverse weather conditions, road closures, etc.
Moving on African Grounds cannot offer a guarantee in locating and viewing the Big 5 or any other animal of a specific species.
Moving on African Grounds is not responsibile for any personal items brought on the safari.
For any personal belongings left on the vehicle, the owner will be liable for additional costs that may be incurred to have the items returned.
Bookings can only be 100% confirmed once full payment has been received.
Cancellation policy:Moving on African Grounds requires full payment 72 hours before departure.
Any cancellations received after payment has been made a 50% cancellation fee will be applied.
Cancellations received less than 48 hours before departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
In the case of a cancellation where a 3rd party contractor the involved (coaches, etc), the cancellation policy of the service provider applies.

Private/Pre-Packaged Multiple Day Tours

Prices, Rates, Fares: Unless otherwise indicated, all prices shown are per person per tour. Prices may fluctuate at any time and are subject to change.  All prices are locked in at time of payment.  Air fare is not included in any of the tours.
Travel Documents:It is the participants responsibility to ensure that they are in possession of a valid passport and meets all standards of entering South Africa and any visa requirements that may be required to enter some or all of the countries visited on the holiday or tour selected. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all of his or her visa and passport requirements are met and Moving on African Grounds will not be held responsible for any associated fees. Please consult with your countries requirements for the rules and regulations that all requirements are met and Moving on African Grounds cannot be held responsible for any inappropriate or missing documents by the participant that may affect their participation in the tour.  Please note that in the event travel advisories are issued by any government or applicable authority and the tour is not cancelled by Moving on African Grounds, or by the tour member (which is subject to cancellation fees), the member assumes and accepts all risk of travel, related to the travel advisory or otherwise.
Tour Information: Acknowledgement of reservation will be sent immediately upon the payment and reservation. Final tour documents (consisting of some or all of a detailed tour itinerary, hotel list, etc.) are provided approximately 21-30 days prior to departure.
Cancellations & Changes: Moving on African Grounds reserves the right to cancel any tour at any time, and in such event the liability of Moving on African Grounds is limited to the return of monies paid to any tour member. If a tour member would like to cancel there is a 25% cancelation fee if more than 90 days before the tour, 50% cancelation fee if between 30 and 89 days before the tour and 100% cancelation fee if less than 30 days before the start of the tour with Moving on African Grounds.
Unused Tour Items: No refund will be made for any unused accommodations, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other service.
Insurance: Moving on African grounds recommends that each individual obtains Travel Protection Insurance, which will protect you and your investment in the event of a medical emergency before or during your trip and offers coverage for trip cancellation or interruption, government travel advisories, illness, injury, and damage, loss or theft of baggage, as well as on site emergency assistance. Moving on African Grounds is not responsible for the costs of any medical treatment required during the tour, nor is Moving on African Grounds responsible for any medical care a tour member may receive while on tour.
Health Requirements:Please ensure that all of your immunizations are up to date and consult with your physician on any additional vaccines that may be required.
In Tour Transportation: Alterations to any planned tour is possible, although every effort will be made to keep them as they are shown. All itineraries are subject to change without notice. Should conditions render transportation routes unsafe for navigation or passage, alternative services may apply, including but not limited to, alternate lodging accommodation and/or substitute transportation arrangements.
Tour Price Includes: Accommodations: Accommodations will be provided at each property specified or will be similar. Rooms will be assigned by the respective supplier/s in accordance with their standard policies, and in categories specified in the itinerary.
Meals: Set meals/ menus for each tour are included as stated on itinerary, alcohol excluded.
Sightseeing & Land tour Services: The following services are included in your tour price: In-tour transportation, baggage handling, sightseeing with English-speaking guides and entrance fees to attractions. Sightseeing will be via motor coach, private car and other modes of transportation. Transfers only included in the tour are covered, however, additional transfers can be arranged for an additional cost.
Meals: As laid out in the itinerary to a maximum daily amount – ages 7 and up:  R 100 per person for breakfast, R 120 per person for lunch and R 150 per person for dinner. Children aged 3 -6: maximum of R 80 per meal. Under the age of 3: Shared meal with another individual. Alcoholic drinks are not included.
Special Entertainment: Any cultural entertainment events, gala evenings and/or festivals are included as per the itinerary.
Tour Price Exclusions: Your tour price does not include: Air transportation (unless specifically stated as included); costs and fees to obtain or extend your passport/s; visa fees and processing fees; inoculations and vaccinations (if required); health certificate; airport taxes and country departure taxes (if applicable); all items of a personal nature including alcoholic beverages (except on certain occasions); meals not specified, tips to tour guides; excess baggage charges; cancellation, health, accident and baggage insurance; private, non-group transfers; and any items not specifically listed as included.
Luggage: In-tour ground travel arrangements include transportation and transfer of no more than one standard-sized and one small suitcase per person. In-tour airline travel may restrict the size and number of luggage pieces, and/or impose additional charges which will be the responsibility of the tour participant. Please be aware that airline restrictions on luggage vary by airline and location.  Moving on African Grounds will use reasonable efforts to notify you of any in-tour luggage restrictions prior to departure.
Baggage Risks: Baggage and personal effects are at owner’s risk throughout the tour and baggage insurance is strongly recommended (see insurance clause).
Photography: Moving on African Grounds reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any tour and can be used for promotional purposes. Any passengers who prefer that their images not be used are asked to notify their tour escort at the beginning of the program.
Reservation of Rights: Moving on African Grounds reserves the right to: cancel any itinerary or any part of it for any reason; make any alterations to the itinerary; and decline to accept or have any individual on a tour should their health, mental or physical condition, in the sole opinion of Moving on Africa Grounds, if it impact other passengers. Individuals may be restricted by Moving on African Grounds, third party services providers or applicable law or regulation from smoking, certain behaviours, photography or other actions due to cultural issues and the enjoyment of other individuals on the tour. All persons are held responsible for being in good health and have the ability to partake in the tour. Any persons needing individual assistance for walking, dining, or other personal needs must be accompanied by an able companion and must notify Moving on African Grounds in writing at the time of booking. Certain trips and features may not be wheelchair accessible. If you require a wheelchair, you must provide your own small collapsible wheelchair and cannot guarantee wheelchair accessibility.  If a tour member is asked to leave while the tour is in progress, due to any condition or action that becomes a nuisance to other individuals on the tour or detrimental to their enjoyment of the tour, that person will be responsible for charges incurred on account of such departure from the tour and/or their return to their country of residence. In such a case, Moving on African Grounds will use its best efforts to obtain a refund of any monies that can be recovered for the unused portion of the tour, taking into account additional charges incurred by Moving on African Grounds and cancellation or modification charges of third parties. However, there can be no guarantee that any such sums can be recovered or refunded.
Disclaimer: Moving on African Grounds is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or misquotes provided or to any other promotional documentation. The contents of any quote or promotional documentation may be changed at any time (including, but not limited to, rates and itinerary) without notice and at the sole discretion of Moving on African Grounds. In the event that an error or omission committed by Moving on African Grounds or a third party in the paid booking of the tour member on an incorrect vacation package, price, date, or other similar error, Moving on African Grounds reserves the right to re-invoice the tour with correct pricing and the tour member agrees to be subject and bound to the subsequent price, or can choose to receive a full refund for all monies that have been paid to Moving on African Grounds in such an event. The tour and stipulated member further agrees that Moving on African Grounds shall not be responsible or held liable to secure the originally intended vacation package, which in many cases may not be available or may not be possible due to forces of nature, market factors, or other related reasons.
Venue: This agreement is entered into in South Africa and in the event any legal or equitable action is brought against Moving on African Grounds concerning the interpretation, enforcement or breach of any term, obligation or duty as contained or related to the terms and conditions set forth in this web site, or pursuant to law, statute or treaty to which South Africa is a signatory, the venue of such action shall lie exclusively in South Africa.
Choice of Law: It is agreed upon and stipulated that the law of South Africa shall govern and apply to any legal or equitable action brought against Moving on African Grounds concerning the interpretation, enforcement or breach of any term, obligation or duty contained in this web site, or pursuant to any law, statute or treaty to which South Africa is a signatory.
Privacy Policy: Your privacy is important to Moving on African Grounds. Your e-mail address, name, address and telephone number are stored in our database. Moving on African Grounds will not at any time sell, rent, trade, or give such information or any other personal details to any other organization unless you give Moving on African Grounds permission. However, Moving on African Grounds reserves the right to release information to the appropriate authorities if we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to comply with the law or to protect the property or safety of Moving on African Grounds or any of its affiliated companies, our employees, users, or others.
Changes and Addendums to the Contract; No changes to the contract, and or any addendum, are enforceable unless documented in writing and signed by all parties.
